The IMEI number protects you if your phone is lost or stolen. Note it down and keep it separate from your mobile. To find IMEI number, enter: * # 0 6 # on the keypad
If your mobile is lost or stolen, call your service provider and give them your IMEI number. Your service will be suspended and your phone may be traced.
If you wish to report the theft, supply the police with the IMEI number.
