The launch must be made from an authorised, listed site; there are 40 launch sites in the Riviera. Popular paragliding sites include Gourdon and Roqubrune-Cap-Martin.

Kitesurf

Kitesurfing, although a relatively new sport, is becoming increasingly popular on the French Riviera. There are a number of kitesurf schools along the coast, recognised by the Fédération Française de Vol Libre.
