Summertime, and the living is easy...
For many this is a time of year when family and friends descend en-masse for an annual visit. You may need to find somewhere for them to stay, and you're bound to be asked to act as tour guide. At the very least, you'll be expected to know all about the region and be able to recommend sights to see and things to do.
How to be a tour guide

Once that's been sorted out, you can turn your attention to finding out about things to do in the region by referring to the categories covering Days Out: Trips & Tours and Children: Days Out For Kids.
You'll find general information on the region, practical tips and pointers in the INFOrmation Pages covering Local Tourism Notes: Cote d'Azur and Monaco, and you can look in the Travel Guides section of the Bookshop to find guide books on the area.
Finally, to help you plan your days, AngloINFO provides links to Maps of Monaco & the French Riviera. Once you've reached your destination, pay a visit to the local Tourism Office where you're bound to find flyers and brochures offering a wide range of interesting things to do that day.
