My iTunes (v.9.0.2) store is in French. Choices therefore for AudioBooks (Podcasts and App's) are 'all' French.
I want to access the iTunes store in English - and - consulted the Apple site. Their instructions (and visual example) is to look in File/Preferences - where "language" choice appears in the General tab.
But - in the newest iTunes store, this "language" choice is NOT there and NOT to be found. ('Help' does not offer any solution)
So ... can someone tell me where it is and how to change it from French to English Please ..

| Robert, at the very bottom of the iTunes Store page there is a line in the middle that says "My Store" and then has a box to select which country you wish to buy from - my iTunes is set to "United Kingdom". Obviously, if you are currently in the French version it may say something different, but scroll down to the very bottom and see if there is anything to change the country basis of the store. |

| Note that if you want to use the UK Itunes Store, your credit card must be registered to a UK address, or else, you have to get hold of UK Itunes gift vouchers to spend in the UK store. |

Your base posting is confusing two things. You mention the iTunes store but then you specifically give instructions that are meant for the iTunes application. Furthermore the instructions were for iTunes on a PC and I believe you are using a Mac.
Follow these instructions to set the preferred iTunes user interface application on a Mac (scroll past the PC instructions!)
Independently of your iTunes user interface language, you may wish to get country/language specific content from a specific iTunes. In which case, Ras has hit the nail on the head - the store is keyed off of your credit card BILLING address. |

| Also do not buy a euro itunes voucher as this CANNOT be applied to the British section of the itunes network, I tried this and chatted at length to the customer services at apply and the vouchers of a different currency cannot be applied to another type of account eg euro to sterling, sterling to euros etc |
