Our neighbour seems to like annoying people intensely by lighting bonfires at the weekend when people like to sit out or air washing! One senses it is done deliberately to annoy!

Does anyone know the date limit for bonfires this year and if there are any rules (outside the date limits) for bonfires which create a severe nuisance to neighbours!

It depends on the "commune" you live it. Call your local mairie. They'll be able to give you more info on the dates. They're also obliged by law to do something if it's getting too much and the smoke is intolerable. Good luck!

No limits on bonfires until end June-ish (as mentioned above precise info available from your local Marie).
